| Eco-Polymer coating SP2000R is an exceptionally chemically engineered Novolac coatings designed to withstand the harshest corrosive environments. SP-2000R is comprised of 100% solids and contains no VOC’s. Excellent adhesion properties allow SP-2000R to bond on steel, concrete and iron even when coating conditions are less than ideal. Eco-Polymer is a complete line of epoxy coatings and repair materials with the unique feature of being able to be applied underwater.
In most cases the object to be repaired is not exactly underwater, just water saturated or in a high-humidity environment. As in splash zones and tidal-prone areas, storage tanks, sewage treatment plants, pollution control equipment, dams and locks, waste water facilities, pipe lines, refineries, pulp and paper mills.
With such high moisture levels, most dry surface only repair materials will have a much reduced surface bond which can result in premature failure. Simply put moisture, is the primary reason for repair and coating failures.
Eco-Polymer epoxies can be used in high level moisture and of course on dry surfaces.
