"Simplify Your Repair and Industrial Coating Projects with Proven Practical Solutions"
Some of the most challenging environments for sealing and repair are pipelines. Often, by their very nature, pipelines are exposed to harsh chemicals and corrosive agents which may flow through with friction or possibly just sit in place, eating away at whatever coats the pipe. For these challenging situations, Construction Systems Supply and Novocoat Technology offer the EcoPolymer family of products.
Resistant to the Harshest Elements
The EcoPolymers were formulated using Kevlar® reinforcing fibers, which help form an incredibly strong bond against corrosion, erosion, wear, and chemical damage. The entire line of products was created without solvents so their tolerance to wet surfaces is exceptional. EcoCoat, the industrial coating member of the EcoPolymer family, was designed for many applications including steel, concrete, and similar surfaces.
EcoCoat is so resistant to moisture that it can be applied in the most challenging of wet environments, including underwater, since the polar bonds of the epoxy we use are strong enough to displace water. Despite their strength though, EcoPolymer products are completely environmentally friendly. Unlike many companies in the industry, CSS is determined to offer its customers industrial coatings that will in no way harm the environment or those working around them.
Before you make a commitment as important as your pipeline's coating, we recommend that you first do a field test on the product. At CSS, we encourage you to test our EcoPolymer products in situ, in its most challenging state. Just fill out our request form to let us know about your project and we'll recommend the exact custom formula for the job and give you a discounted sample--we look forward to making your work easier.
Maximum interior and exterior protection for steel, cast & concrete pipes and tanks.
Pipe and tank coatings and linings present there own unique set of challenges. Often, by their very nature, pipelines and tanks are exposed to harsh chemicals and corrosive conditions in damp and humid environments. I many cases in the past the matenance of these items would cause the facility to be shut down for long periods of time and product halted.
THE HIGH COST OF DOWN TIME
When the production of a facility is reduced or shut down for either a planed or emergency outage the costs for this down time can be astounding.
In situations like this, “time is truly money”.
WET OR DRY SURFACE EPOXIES AND MUSTURE CURED UNITHANES
This latest generation of exceptionally Moisture and Surface Tolerant coating Systems are used for rebuilding and protecting all types of equipment and structures, concrete or metal on wet or dry surfaces, even underwater. Significantly reducing product down time.
The ability of a single product system to be effectively used on dry surfaces, underwater, or on saturated or dripping metal/concrete surfaces, while being both environmentally and user friendly, represents a technology that will greatly reduce matenance cost.
Eco-Coat Wet Dry Gel is a 100% solids, next generation, multipurpose protective coating that may be applied to wet or dry surfaces, even underwater. Provides excellent chemical and outstanding abrasion resistance. The abrasion resistance in enhanced with the use of KevlarTM micro fibers, feldspar ceramic, and maximum resin rigidity. This coating is highly resistant to sewer gasses, sulfur based chemicals, dilute acids and most caustics. Suitable for full time immersion service.
Eco-Polymer coating SP2000R & SP2000W
Is an exceptionally chemically engineered Novolac coatings designed to withstand the harshest corrosive environments. SP-2000R is comprised of 100% solids and contains no VOC’s. Excellent adhesion properties allow SP-2000R to bond on steel, concrete and iron even when coating conditions are less than ideal. The R in SP-2000R represents the incorporation of re-cycled tire rubber. The rubber enhances the product with excellent impact resistance. Typical applications include secondary containment, wastewater tanks, lift stations, wet wells, and manholes, cooling towers, and industrial floor coating. SP2000W meets NSF/67 standards for potable water.

The Novolac Epoxy Advantage:
Novolac technology is the cutting edge in epoxies.
Learn more...
- Enviromentally safe
(100% solds hybrid NOVOLAC systems, contains no solvents, no volatile or organic compounds)
- Superior Bonding
( Bonds both mechanically and chemically to concrete and metal in excess of 3000psi ASTM D 4541)
- Higher Chemical Resistance
(Due to its chemistry, this Novolac epoxy has very high chemical resistances, withstands up to 98% sulfuric acid )
- Higher Temperature
(High Temperature engineered versions are available for service temperatures exceeding 400 °F)
- Superior Abrasion Resistant
(ASTM D4060-9 testing for abrasion resistance that the incorportation of alumina oxide ceramic into the matrix provides excellent resistance to abrasion and improves chemical resitances)
- Reinforcing Kevlar™ Fibers
(The Addition of reinforcing Kevlar fibers, which are six times stronger than steel, to the epoxy matrix, tremendously increases the flexural and tensile strength by up to 5 to 6 time. This substantaially increases wear resistance and greatly reduces the possiblity fo damage from impact to crack or chip the epoxy.)
